Haiku: We took a ferry from Piraeus to Paros for wife’s birthday. We had seen photos of Naoussa and other places on the island that caught our eye. I liked the hiking trail to the lighthouse Korakas. We also took a day trip boat tour around Paros and Antiparos, with stops to swim in several places with crystal clear water.
Naoussa is a very pretty town with an enchanting atmosphere at night. My favorite area was the main square with all of the taverns, ouzeries and clubs that stay open until dawn. I wrote this haiku after I finished this painting:
“In Paros Island, Warm summer night out— The sound of life”
